8 Days tour from Tangier to Marrakech

After that, you visit Meknes, one of the imperial cities of Morocco. Here you can see the famous Bab Mansour gate and walk a little in the old medina. This day is dedicated to exploring Fes with a local guide. After breakfast, you start your visit in the old medina, which is one of the oldest and largest in the world. Walking here feels like going back in time, with narrow streets, small shops, and traditional crafts everywhere.

You will visit the famous tanneries where leather is made by hand in big colorful pits. You will also see historical schools, fountains, mosques, and the oldest university in the world. The city is full of history, culture, and daily life. In the afternoon, you can relax in your riad or enjoy mint tea on a rooftop with a nice view.

After breakfast, you leave Fes and drive toward the desert. The road passes through the Middle Atlas Mountains. First, you stop in Ifrane, a clean and quiet town that looks like Europe with its houses and parks.

Then you pass through forests near Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys. After that, the landscape changes as you reach the beautiful Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and small villages. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, near the Sahara Desert.

Here, you will ride camels into the dunes and watch a magical sunset over the sand. At night, you enjoy dinner and traditional music in a desert camp and sleep in a tent under the stars.

You wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, which is one of the most beautiful moments of the trip. After breakfast, you ride camels back and continue your journey.

You visit Rissani, a traditional town known for its market. Then you head to Todra Gorges, where high rock walls rise on both sides of a small river. It is a great place to walk and enjoy nature.
