5 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Your tour starts in Tangier, a beautiful city in the north of Morocco where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. After meeting your driver, you start your journey towards Chefchaouen. The road goes through the Rif Mountains, and along the way you will enjoy amazing views of green hills, small villages, and local life.

When you arrive to Chefchaouen, you will feel a calm and peaceful atmosphere. This small town is very famous for its blue painted streets and houses, and it is one of the most photogenic places in Morocco. You will have free time to walk slowly inside the medina, take nice pictures, visit small local shops, and enjoy a coffee in the main square. In the evening, you stay in a traditional riad where you can relax and enjoy the quiet night.

After breakfast, you leave Chefchaouen and drive towards Fes, one of the oldest and most important cities in Morocco. On the way, you can stop in Meknes, a historic imperial city with big gates and old walls, and also visit Volubilis, where you can see ancient Roman ruins and beautiful mosaics.

After arriving in Fes, you check in your riad. The city is full of history, narrow streets, and traditional life. You can spend the evening walking near your riad or just relax after the long drive. Fes has a very special atmosphere, and you will feel like you are traveling back in time.

Today is a long but very beautiful journey from Fes to the desert of Merzouga. First, you stop in Ifrane, a clean and modern town that looks very different from other Moroccan cities, with its European style houses and parks.

Then you continue to Azrou, where you can visit the cedar forest and see wild monkeys (Barbary macaques). After that, the road continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the town of Midelt, where you can stop for lunch.

Later, you drive through the amazing Ziz Valley, full of palm trees and old villages, offering beautiful panoramic views. In the afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where the Sahara desert begins.

Here, you will ride camels and go inside the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The sunset in the desert is something you will never forget. After reaching the desert camp, you enjoy dinner, Berber music, and a magical night under the stars.

Wake up early in the desert to see the sunrise over the dunes, a very calm and beautiful moment. After breakfast, you ride camels back to the village and continue your journey.

First stop is Rissani, a traditional town known for its local market and authentic Moroccan life. Then you drive towards the impressive Todra Gorge, where huge cliffs rise high on both sides, creating a natural canyon. You can walk a bit inside the gorge and enjoy the fresh air and views.

After that, you continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its strange rock formations and green oasis. The landscapes here are very different and interesting. In the evening, you stay in a local guesthouse where you can relax and enjoy a traditional dinner.

On the last day, you travel towards Marrakech. The road takes you through the Valley of Roses and the oasis of Skoura, where you can see many palm trees and old kasbahs.

You pass by Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, where many movies were filmed. Then you visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a very old fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is one of the most beautiful places in Morocco.

After that, you cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying amazing views along the way. In the evening, you arrive in Marrakech, where your tour ends with drop-off at your accommodation.
