Day 01 :

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Your tour will start early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. As you leave the city, the landscape quickly changes and you begin your journey into the High Atlas Mountains. The road goes up through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, where you can stop to enjoy amazing panoramic views and take beautiful photos. Along the way, you will see small Berber villages built on the mountains, giving you a real idea about local life in Morocco.

After crossing the mountains, you will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a very old and famous kasbah that is listed by UNESCO. This place is very special because of its traditional mud architecture and because many movies and series were filmed here. You will have time to walk inside the kasbah and explore its narrow streets.

Later, you continue to Ouarzazate, where you can see the film studios and learn why this city is called the Hollywood of Africa.
